Who we are

EZNRG.AI Inc (“EzNRG”, “we”) provides energy analytics for commercial customers in ComEd territory. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. Questions about it go to founders@eznrg.ai.

Information we handle

Account and contact details for the people at your organization who use EzNRG.

Property addresses and utility account and meter identifiers.

Documents you give us: electricity bills, past statements, energy contracts, and optional gas and water bills, as PDFs, scans or photos, and usage files you download from your utility account.

Your signed Memorandum of Understanding and the interval usage data ComEd provides for your accounts.

Membership and payment status from Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own checkout pages; EzNRG never receives or stores card numbers.

Messages you send us, and the security and audit records the service keeps.

How we use it

To set up your account, read your bills, request your usage data from ComEd with your authorization, build and publish your analytics, support you, keep the service secure, handle billing requests, and meet legal obligations.

We use an AI document-reading service to transcribe the bills you upload. It is instructed not to keep them: files are deleted from the service after reading, and every figure is checked against the totals printed on the bill and reviewed by our team before it is used.

Our staff have an internal analytics assistant that works only from summaries of reviewed data. It never receives your documents, account numbers or contact details, and its answers are checked by staff before they are shared with you.

Who can see it

The people your organization adds to its EzNRG account, and EzNRG staff who need it to run the service. Staff access to customer documents is logged.

Service providers who process data on our behalf: cloud hosting and storage, payments, email delivery, error monitoring, and AI document reading. We share with ComEd only what you have signed for.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with energy suppliers or brokers.

How long we keep it

While your membership is active. After a cancellation is confirmed, your data is scheduled for deletion after 90 days. We keep only the minimal records we are required to keep for accounting, fraud prevention, legal, security or audit purposes. Database backups expire on a rolling schedule.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information at any time by emailing founders@eznrg.ai. Where we are required to keep a record, we will tell you which one and why.
